General attitude when posting in the NOOB comms

Do we really need so much attitude and sneering going on in the NOOB comms ?
Sure, most long time players have an empire there , but lets not forget that most new players will not post or read the forums and will use the comm channel and gain their first impressions of the Nev community through that .
I mean such posts as copied below.

lol, level 1 is STILL a celebration for me, even though my main empire is level 5, i was happy when i got my second empire outta the pits of noobness

Looks like my good buddy Vic is still at it. Still waiting for the bi-monthly threat of total anhilation from him actually.
I remember when I got to level 1 for the first time, I was so excited I launched a LW with my uber lvl1 military and got beaten back to lvl 0. (loseing on nev can be just as fun as winning sometimes  )

I reported the spammer offenses to Nic via PMs I believe. These guys where posting links to porn if i remember correctly. I removed the posts as they had nothing to do with the actual thread...
I left the comment to delete him as I dont have that level of access, or I would have done it myself.
There were actually about 5 or 6 spammer accounts if I recall correctly that I requested to be deleted
