Overview:
Originally designed as a fast strike assault mech, the Bryant Corporation went
under before design work was finished. By the time the design was salvaged its
specifications were altered as a high endurance fire support mech.
Capabilities:
Originally the Ravager was equipped with an XL engine with a top speed of
nearly 87kph, but as SLDF specifications were altered technicians changed it to
a regular engine with a slower top speed. In order to fit in the weaponry an
Endo Steel skeleton was fitted. The original specifications included a PPC,
but this was swapped out for a Large Laser and extra ammo for the LRM and
Autocannon.
The Ravager is designed to operate for extended periods thanks to ample ammo
stores and heavy laser armament. Even with 12 DS heat sinks the Ravager must
carefully select monitor its heat output or run the risk of overheating.
Well protected by the standards of the day the Ravager is capable of taking on
anything of smaller or equal tonnage and continue fighting in all but the most
protracted battles.
Battle History:
Deployed near the end of the Star League, the Ravager came just in time to
participate in the last major military operations. A popular design it was a
solid and reliable design fitted with proven technology.
Deployment:
Ravagers were issued to Royal regiments for the most part, despite their
relative lack of advanced technology.
Variants:
The original was resurrected in 3073 by Randam Mechwerks as one of their last
designs before the World of Blake attack on their main production facilities.

Overall it looks really good for a medium range fighter, the firepower is impressive and both variants have a lot going for them. I would say it would do well with a similar grouping of lance mates.
