What could be more manly than a convention featuring the Houston Texans Football, Rocket's Basketball, Astros Baseball, Aeros Hockey, Dynamos Soccer, and Energy Stadium Football organizations (oh, yeah, AND their Cheerleaders) and street machine car show and tailgating supplies and food vendors and a "Miss Guy" competition and a "beer-a-thon"?
For me, the only thing missing would be a way to bring my buds and PWN them in head to head competition.
Hey?
What if there were a bunch of simulators that we could jump into and beat the living crap out of each other in futuristic virtual warfare?

So, what is a BattleTech Pod? These marvels of science are fully enclosed military style simulators that feature 7 screens, over 90 control systems, and a 12 speaker surround sound system. When seated in the pod, the player pilots one of a selection of BattleMechs onto one of 25 landscapes to compete for battlefield superiority with those seated in surrounding cockpits.
