One of the mechs I normally save for those conventions that have the open mech fights, knowing that this where the munchkins and power gamers like to play, so it is more of a case of fighting fire with fire, but then again, I have taken a stock Warhammer into those fights and done well enough.

Yup. Standard pulse design. Not really much to say, it all checks out.

AND it is munchy as all hell and back. It uses the loops holes in the game and good players don't need to use a mech like this to win or enjoy the game.

You're not teaching me anything I didn't already know before, so don't even try.

If you want an apology, I'm sorry for comparing your Omega Supreme with a mech like this. Yours wasn't munchy, but neither are mine. The only one that was, was the Dire Wolf I had, but I saw the light thanks to everyone's input, and replaced it with the Summoner I designed.

It started that way...then a buddy wanted to redo it into a Rifleman look alike...so in the end it was called the AAM for that reason. Anti-Air Mech...yeah we were really reaching out for that one.

lol... you realise that the CLAN rifleman is just that? 4 L Pulse in an 80(?) ton chassis.

Yes...this one came out before the TRO3055 (original) came out.

We had a big battle, four of the guys I game with, against this group we meet at a local convention. They brought two fighters to the game, we had a decent force, 12 mechs mixed tonnage and the fighters where something we didn't count on, (hey let's see a computer do that), and it cost us. So Mark came up with the idea of a mech to take on aerospace that was better then the Rifleman. I gave him a mech that had two lg. pulse lasers in the torso and said hey it can tilt upward...he smiled and went off to work on his idea. What I posted was the end result, I am pretty sure he would have stuck a targeting computer in there if he could have and still kept the armor it has. I believe we only used it for it's intended role...against fighters and VTOLs.

Thanks. Though I wish the days of being able to play larger games was still around. Most of us still get together when we can, but I do miss the days of almost endless BT game. Granted my girlfriends at the time didn't but I did make up for it by doing the endless days (or so it seemed) of shopping and other things one does with girlfriends and spouses...(looks around, oh wait, mine is in the states, lucky me.)
