In 3057, while completing an equipment audit of one of their Brian Caches, Clan Hell's Horses technicians came across a lance of SLDF Kanga Hovertanks. Research on these strange vehicles gathered interest up to the highest levels of CCH leadership. Late that year, Kahn Malavai Fletcher observed a demonstration of the capabilities of the antique Kangas. The Kahn's remark after the demonstration: "I like it, but make it better." By May 3058, a prototype Kanga IIC was presented to the Kahn, who approved the strange little vehicle for a trinay's worth of production. Production version Kanga IICs started to slide off the assembly lines in June 3058. Currently, the Kanga IIC is only seen in service with Clan Hell's Horses.
