Rules: Beam Gatlings function as a mix of Rotary AC's and LB-X AC's. There are no rolls required for locking up on multiple fire. If firing as a RAC, double heat only on 4x and 6x fire modes (heat of two for both modes), not on 2x fire mode. If firing as an LB-X AC, follow standard LB-X rules. Only one fire mode may be used at a time.

Description: Designed to fix the problems with ammo consumption associated with autocannon, the beam gatling has become the replacement in all Phoenix Clan forces. The barrel of the cannon resembles the six-barreled design found on rotary autocannons with a seventh barrel in the middle which contains a multi-angle lens used to recreate the effect of an LB-X AC. These upgrdes have come with a high price tag though, resulting in a lower amount of production than originaly planned.
