==Overview:==
A Mech that was aparrently biult out of salvaged weapons and ammo as well as
scrap metal and internals. which was produced around the early days of the
clan invasion by a not so well known greesemonkey.

Whome was looking around for scrap metal and parts to use for an industrial
mech insted ended up what he needed and then some. Scrounging around some more
he managed to salvage and refurbish a used PPC from a Uziel, A LRM-10 From an
Cyclpos,Two Medium Lasers from an Atlas and a Machine gun from an Bushwhacker.

==Capabilities:==
Although it is made from used parts and scrap metal. it has truned the tide of
some grim encounters into something abnormally spectacular however due to the
lack of ammunition mech warriors will have to train thier shots on their
targets.

It's movement capabilities are almost if not compareable to that of some of
the light inner sphear mechs. Eventhough it may not compare to the clan mechs
it's movement ptoential was shown to be quite promising in the field.

Endurance-wise it has shown to be a cude mach up of scrap armour yet a
decently effective defence against fresh factory made armements due to the
re-refineing process involved in it's armour and internal structure.

When Firepower is concerned the Ostredava as a single unit may not be able to
burn down lances like some of the other factory made mechs such as the black
knight or atlas. hoever can stil hold it's own againt light and medium mechs
if the need is there. As well as one machine gun for taking care and infantry
that get's too close. hoever as sated the lack of ammo comes from only having
two tons of ammo for it's LRM-10 and one ton of ammo it's Machine gun means
the mechwarriors need to learn to conserve their ammo.

Overall the Ostredava has proven time and time again the even junkheap
fanatics can cook up something potentionally deadly.As well as make the
average untility wroker feel badass.

==Battle History:==
Even though there wernt many skirmishes with this particular mech there have
been many reports that it has proen that it can take down some of the low end
heavy mech with just two-four units on thier own despite the limited useage in
combat there has been an urban legend surrounding it that if you get caught in
brawl with this mech that it is like looking at deaths midget in the eye.

One of three most critical skirmishes it has been seen in was it's debute when
during a Demonstration On the Planet Orkney When Clan steel Viper Intially
landed unknownst to the Lyran militay personel observeing the field
demonstration Of this make shift mech when they started getting reports of
undientified mechs assaulting the bases left flank. This greesemonkey gave the
excuse to use this assault as a 'field test' for the demonstration Regardless
of the warnings he recceived from the lyran and federate military officers and
technichians there. When it was intially engaged the Clans dubbed it the
'Ifrit'. The reason for this was that during the invasion of the planet that
their forces started to give reports of a unidentified Battlemech attacking
them from various positions and either destoryed or crippled the units it was
attacking. Post-Evacuation from the planet with several Federated commonwealth
both houses grew quite abit of interest despite the bezarness of the mech
construction. A Battle Rom of the skirmish was leaked all over the inner
sphear and got the attention several inner sphear houses and mecenary unit's
specifically house kurita and the kell hounds.

The Second of it's skirmishes was that of the battle of Luthien When The Kell
hounds Arrived with their own versions of the Ostredava which had their LRM-10
Replaced with A SRM-6and one medium pulse laser to suppliment the two medium
lasers,a Large laser to replace the PPC and a extra mechinegun although
sacrificing range for better heat managment. This Configuration has proven
that the Ostreadava can used as fire suppoort as well.

It's final skirmish was in amongst the comgaurds of Tukayyid where this
mech's design shined the most in guerrilla warfare like mannerisims swapping
the mchine gun out for a small pulse laser in order to reduce weight slightly
and swapping the LRM-10 out for a Streak SRM-4 with a ton of ammo to conserve
space and weight for a additional heat sink in order to increase heat capacity
and swapping out the PPC for a Large Pulse Laser to increase it's chances of
hitting a target at close range this made the Ostredava a reliable,malible and
feared design.

Post-Tukayyid The Inner Sphear offered two Ostredava's to the Clans so they
could make thier own variants.

==Variants:==
Not much is curently known about how many different variants are floating
around the inner sphear however there are few that are known to both inner
sphear and the clans.

Ostredava OST-223KR

The Draconis Combines primary variant uses a Shiniguna MRM-10 To suppliment
the Helion-V LRM-10,The Party killer PPC s supplimented with a Large Pulse
Laser. and themachine guns are swapped for one aditional double heat sink and
a small pulse laser.

I would have used Endo-steal IS and not Ferro-Fibrous armor. Standard armor is cheaper to replace and a great deal easier to find.

As for your ammo; I dont think its light at all. Most mechs that carry a LRM-10 only carry one ton of ammo. 24 shots will carry you through almost any battle. And for the MG 200 rounds could last almost an entire campaign.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.

this was meant to be a campaign mech rather than a normal mech as as cray stated in the zenarth thread that not all mechs need to be optimal the one's that are not tend to have a bit more "character" to them. I thought that the fluff would characterize it batter.
