My Take on Making the thanatos A little bit lighter.

Overview:
The Thanatos Light is a slightly loiwered weight version of the standard
thanatos. It greatly resemble it's larger brother in appearance but that is
where the similarity ends.The Thanatos Light is equipped to be not only similar
to the normal thanatos but as well as being able to fight in both open and
biult up areas.
Capabilities:
Althoguh biult upon a standard internal stucture as comptemplated by many of
the more common battlemechs. the Thanatos Light carries nine and a half tons of
heavy ferro fibrous made by Kallon industries. Though lacking the jump jets of
the thanatos. It is equipped with a blistering array of both close and long
range weapons systems. The Thanatos Light also has a compact gyro to reduce the
probability of the gyro of being hit. and PlasmaStar 275 light fusion engine to
push it's speed up to par with the normal thanatos.
For Armarment It is equpied with A single Shinigunga MRM-10 with a single ton
of ammo. A Type OVR-X LB-X AC/2 with one ton of slug ammo and one tone of
Cluster. For Backup Weapons it is equipped with one BlazeFire Sweetshot ER
large laser Along with a Diverse Optics Type 20 Medium Laser. For Defensive
Measures A Norse Gaurdian ECM has been places onto the mech for increased
sruvivability.

Were ya feelin' OK when you fluffed this one?
Since this is a new build, not an refit, endosteel and 11.5 tons of standard armor = 1 point less of armor and +0.5 tons of weight (the weight of a medium mech's jump jet). Actually you have room for 10 or 10.5 tons of FF armor if you wanted.
An LB2x with 2 - count 'em - 2 tons of ammo!? Naw. That LBX is worth its weight in golden jumpjets with 6 to 7.5 tons and 6 criticals left over, depending on what you decide for armor.
Actually, you can get very close to matching the 75 tonner gun for gun.

for Four standard medium lasers to give decent close range energy battery it
retains the same ammoun of double heat sinks as the 3B.
