Played around with the idea of a 'mech design that could be used to force other 'mechs into a shutdown by spiking their heat. Most Inner Sphere (canon) 'mechs are not perfectly balanced in the heat department, and I figured that the Clanners would have picked up on this pretty quickly.
So, using a small, agile 'Mech to quickly move into and out of combat, they could upset the heat balance of the 'Mechs by using the plasma cannon, along with flamers for point-blank engagements. The LRM in the side torso could also be swapped for an SRM6+Inferno combo for increased short-range punch, although having it as a LRM gives it some teeth for nipping at brawls that are too thick to approach directly.
No fluff beyond that, just testing the idea for feedback.
