It has come to my attention that there is a new problem in town:

This occurs, one assumes, during daychange, and if you encounter it while logged in, frankly, your empire is ****. It can:
1) Cause you to miss move/fire phases (this is the obvious one)

2) Cause your pop to reset to 0 causing any of the following:
* OMT to reset, putting your entire military to operate on 20sp until the next time OMT is checked, which is likely 24hrs or so. This probably causes irreversible financial damage to your empire.
* If you're at war, you likely CF or even surrender.

Plus all the other stuff the other 199 geeks haven't discovered yet.
For SM to say he has been too busy to respond to players is causing things to get worse. It is a pretty lame excuse as I am sure there are a few of us whose day is much longer than SMs, yet we still find the time somehow.
Lets face facts here. Judging by what has been happening, SM does not care about, or want the current players. It does not matter that he would be nowhere without us. He fgures he can get a whole new playerbase and to hell with the rest of us. He wants a shiny new looking game that he can market and make money. It does not matter that we have supported him in the past, both financially and personally.
The more we post, the more we get ignored. Everyone posting on forums is just going to make him work harder at getting rid of us. So, I say everyone take a break, your emps are screwed anyhow. Let's all just leave for 5 days. No logging in, no forums, no nothing. He wants to give us the silent treatment? We can do better!
