Uninstall ativex
      #164304 - 02/21/12 11:29 AM (161.184.189.112)

Can anyone help me with this? I have looked in programs and features, nothing there. Also tried looking at IE add-ons and such but not there either.

How do I get rid of this huge security hole?

Dang it, I meant for this to go to the tech section, can someone move it please?

I made a mistake and am now asking nicely for help in fixing it. See? Not that hard.

I was actually wanting help on how to get rid of it now that I have it.

I dont care if Neveron keeps it one way other, I just want it gone from my computer.

what exactly is it that you feel is a security risk about the registration active X control?

That wasnt an answer to my question. Does it matter? I dont feel safe. I highly doubt it has been kept up to date.

ActiveX does introduce some security risk, because they can cause potentially hostile programs to be automatically downloaded and run on your computer, just because you visited some Web page.

This is beside the point. Point is I want it gone.

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of it?

Java vs Active X

I think it is a trust issue at this point...

Yes, I have removed it from my host systems. A few VMs still have it, but basically.
