SM, being an admin, and whose legacy?

SM, as an admin do you think its really in the game's best interest to be visible here sniping back and forth, playing games, being insulting back and forth, etc? We know how it makes us look. We're just players, it's par for the course. It makes you look extremely unprofessional, however, because as an admin and game owner you are supposed to at least try and act like you are indeed "above it all". You like to say that you are, but your actions here on these forums and in IRC speak otherwise.
The spotlight is on you, man. Not us. You barfed up a horrendous couple of changes to this game and we got pissed. Guess what, that's what happens with online games that have passionate communities. We get pissed when our wheaties start getting pissed on. There's nothing new or special about what's gone down here. Go talk to any major game studio that broke a popular game, ask them about the rage they faced from their communities. Ask them, you'll find their stories very familiar. This is what happens when you break things that people love, and treat communities like dog crap. You seem to think that outside of the Nev world, game communities are all nicely behaved, in their best sunday suits, all smiles and high fives for developers. Its not so, and its never been so.
What is NOT customary, however, is for admin to come down into the mud and start swinging, attacking the very community that pays his bills. You shouldn't NEED any of us to tell you how UNSMART your behavior has been the past days. Unsmart in a way that is undoubtedly hitting your pocket book, or at the very least will very soon.
You really are an enigma. The money doesn't matter. The community doesn't matter. The game's decade plus of history don't matter. Nothing seems to matter to you, SM. What does matter? Is it finding some way to prove Randy right all along? I'll tell you, that sure seems to be a huge motivator. That's what all your diatribe keeps coming back to. Randy. Why? Why are you so hell bent on forsaking everything about this game, in order to prove Randy right, and promote Randy's vision of this game. Because make no mistake, that is what you are doing, whether you admit it - or even realize it - or not. Your argument seems to come full circle, in some way shape or form, back to Randy every time. Nothing against the man, but he's not right for Nev, and you have proven that right now neither are you.
You need to wake up.
