I'm curious, how many new mech designs have been finished and by whom? How many people are waiting on them to be put in? I've finished the Mercury, Commando, and Hatchetman.

I didn't say it mattered, just that I was curious which designs were done that haven't yet been put into the game to be produced.

Actually infantry stuff was implemented. The old admins decided they didnt like infantry because they were unbalanced in the game. Energy weapons did only 1 point of damage to them, instead of the normal damage btech did.
On abr, they were extremely overpowered. Like people love using hunters for abr, infantry would and did kill mechs that should have wiped the floor with them.
Even though there is heavy infantry armor in the research tree, that is required to advance it other areas, it was never programmed or utilized.
Another issue, was the inability to find infantry without some good sensors, as well as they were pretty cheap, along with jump infantry always landing without losing any. They could also enter buildings which normally meant having to destroy buildings to kill them.
Still think they need to bring them back but balance them a little better.

About the same time inf was turned off the locust was researched by a player, thus ending my dream of having 36 LCT-1S, the ultimate inf killing machine.
