So what does everyone think about the new SW movie that is coming out in 2015?

Unlike some folks, I'm not calling doom-n-gloom at this point. Disney has done alright with some sci-fi movies, and it can turn out solid plots (though I'm mostly thinking of the Disney-Pixar cooperation). Compared to Lucas's treatment of the last 3 or 4 movies (I'm actually underwhelmed by the proto-JarJar Ewoks in Return of the Jedi), Disney has a track record showing it can do a lot better.
Of course, Disney's also screwed the pooch with some movies, too, and is too likely to cater to kiddies. There's room for debacles that make the Lucas prequels look like artistic marvels.

Well Disney has said no song and dance in the movie, then again their idea of song and dance leave a lot to be desired. Also since they are ruling out at this time of using any post Jedi EU (Expanded Universe in SW lingo) novels aka the Timothy Zahn books and going with their own script we are forced to wait and see. Now I did like their treatment of John Carter, while not perfect it was decently done and did a good job of following the book(s) to a point and going off on track here and there, but over all not bad. And I do agree they could do better or worse then some of Lucas's ideas but then again as much as folks complain about SW movies we still line up to see them.
