------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== A tank in the Capellan armed forces, Zhulong means "Torch Dragon" or "illuminating darkness" in ancent Chinese; was commissioned to fill the gaps left in the armed forces following the Fourth Succession War. Having lost half of its star systems and most of the industrial base, the Capellan mlitary was left in desperation for war material to rebuilt its conventional forces. As Candace Liao had taken a sizable portion of both state and family funds when she defected, the tank had to be inexpensive and built using parts manufactured in the Confederation. The Zhulong has lost the initial bid as it took nearly a year and a half to get it to production from the drawing board, losing out by only 4 months to the Po Heavy tank and costing nearly 50% more expensive as well as lacking a shortage of fusion engines and PPC's the Zhulong shared with the Vindicator to keep the production line going. The project was cancelled after the Po became the de facto tank of the Cappellan conventional forces.
==Capabilities:== The Zhulong is capable of reaching over 60 KPH an hour at max speed powered by a GM 180 Fusion engine, same as used in the Vindicator. Its protected by 12.5 tons of StarSlab/3 armor, comparable to a heavy mech in the weight category of a medium mech. The primary gun is the Ceres Arms Smasher PPC fit into the turrent, a reliable weapon as demonstrated by the Vindicator that was equipped with it. Backing up the PPC is a Sian/Ceres Cougar 6 SRM launcher should any enemy attempt to get under the minimum range of the particle cannon. For defense against infantry, a SperryBrowning machine gun is equipped in both the turret and the front of the tank.
==Variants:== Several different variations where built.
-3W replaces the SRM and PPC in the turret with 2 LRM-5 with 2 tons of ammo, 1 SRM-4 with one ton of ammo, and 3 medium lasers + 1 small laser. Machinge guns remains as is.
-4W down grades the PPC to a large laser and fits a secondary SRM-2 with one ton of ammo on the opposite side of the SRM-6. Machine guns remains as is.
-5W is fitted to the turrent with 3 medium lasers, 2 small lasers, and an additional SRM-6 sharing one ton of ammunition. Machine guns remain as is.
-6W was a local variant, after receiving their tanks they were quickly attacked and heavily damaged while driving off the raiders. Lacking replacement parts, the turrent was removed and an AC/10 was mounted in the front of the tank with two tons of ammunition. The former turrent mounted SperryBrowning machine gun was moved to the rear.
==Deployment== A few hundred chassis where produced, before the line was discontinued in favor of the Po. These tanks where shipped to bolster the militias along the Federated Commonwealth border. Only half had been fully fitted in the -2W variant, the rest where quickly adapted into several makeshift variations with available weapons.

Thanks, though I will admit part was plagarized from the TRO text. Had creative writer's block, after smashing into the wall.
And its awesome how you can't use the Graemlins cause its considered to be hyperlinks

By dropping the SRM-6 and two tons of armor I was able to bring your tank down to 30 tons at the cost of 779,350 CBills
120 fusion PP PPC in turret MG in turret MG front w/ .5 tons ammo body 10.5 tons armor
That SRM-6 cost you just under 800,000 CBills
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.
I was a Major *pain* before
But I got a promotion.
I am now a General *pain*
Yay for promotions!!!

SRM-6 doesn't cost 800,000. Its the price of the 45 ton chassis, which is greater then 30 without weapons...further still going with a wheeled chassis makes it even cheaper which I opted against. And I had looked at a 30-35 ton tank, was too bland and 45 tons fit well when using the theme of "shared" parts from the Vindicator.
