thumbs up, not bad. I kind of like this one. Armor is just a few tons lighter then would I would prefer but at least its not a 200 ton monster again with a hunchback worth of armor on it.

Thanks. I could have gotten rid of the secondary weapons for more armor but I like at least some weapons that aren't in the main turret.

OK, downgraded the Streak 6s to Streak 4s to add a little more armor and some anti-infantry guns.

Okay having done a similar armed tank before you are paying WAY to much for the heat sinks, now granted that is a failing of the rules, but still it is a noticed defect. Same reasons I try not to use the ER Large Laser if I can avoid it. You can shave the armor down to about 8 tons and still have decent protection and possible use the saved weight to give this thing some secondary weapons. MGs or AMS or something. Angle ECM is nice, but given how crappy the ECM rules are in BT it's not the end all of close in defense.

Streaks are nice, but this one would do better with the standard SRM launchers vs the Streaks, mainly because of the ability to use infernos and possible NARCs, which an IS user would indeed want to use. Also check the rules, TargComps and Pules lasers no longer work together as they once did so you lost the ability to alpha with this thing and get all the extras of a -3 to the hit roll. So dropping the TargComp might be a good idea or if you want it changing out the main weapons to say Autocannons or something lower in heat.

It doesn't need more armor again same comments as above that I made about the Pulse lasers and the targcomp and the heat. You can still ditch the streaks and have better flexibility with the launchers.

What secondaries? Your vehicle has 3 lasers and some SRMs, what secondaries? The second posting has some, but you drop any of them you are back to the basic vehicle. Let me ask this what is your design theory when you make your vehicles?

Noted. I believe that you still get the bonus of -1 to hit with a targeting computer when using it with Pulse Lasers but you cannot target a specific location. If that has changed, please let me know

For me, I consider the main weapons the 3 Large Pulse Lasers and the secondary weapons are the Streaks (and MGs in the second version).

From what I understand it's either the -2 for the pulse with location or just the -1 for the targeting computer no location targeting. Will double check, either way the rules changed so the idea of this thing lazing the battlefield is not going to happen with any sense of the old munchkin ideal of targ-pulse combos.

The tank is WAY to heavy. I would ditch two of the LPL and heat sinks and instead of one tank buy three tanks with one LPL in each. Yes you will need more crews to man them but heck life is cheap weapons cost money!
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.
