------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
The Capellan Confederation, commissioned Ceres Arms to produce the Gonne in an
attempt to bolster its mech units. It is named after the ancient, primitive
Terran firearms, or hand cannons, due to the massive autocannon mounted in the
right arm.

Built using many of the same parts as the reliable Vindicator, the Gonne is
intended to be a more short range specialist then the generic
"jack-of-all-trades" of its brother.

==Capabilities:==
The Gonne has very similar performance characteristics as the Vindicator.
Other then the armaments, the only real notable difference is the Gonne lacks
the jump mobility of its brother and has lower heat build up, resulting in a
need for fewer heatsinks.

The Gonne's primary weapon is a Crusher SH autocannon 20 mounted in the right
arm. Ten rounds of ammunition are supplied in the right torso. It's secondary
armament consists of a Telos-4 Shot SRM, supplied with 1 ton of ammo, in the
left torso and a back up Ceres Arms Medium laser fixed in the left arm.

==Variants:==
There are only 2 known varients of the Gonne, both removing the SRM and
replacing it with an additional Ceres Arms Medium laser. The first variant
uses the additional tonnage to mount 4 jump jets in the legs. The second, and
more popular version, adds one more ton of auttocannon ammo and one more
heatsink to deal with the additional heat build up of the second laser.

I like the fluff. Mech seems similar to the Hunchback or the Thunder, but overall not bad. Has room for some higher tech upgrades and the armor isn't bad. I could see this working well on Solairs 7.

Thanks. Wasn't trying for anything beyond 3025ish. And I also liken the design to the Victor or urbanmech upgrade.
