==Overview:==
The RFL-9N Rifleman is an attempt to refurbish a sole, outdated and badly
damaged RFL-3C left abandoned from a battle decades ago. The interplanetary
trade company, Planet Express; seeking a mech for secruity purposes from the
pirates often found on runs to the Periphery, recovered the rusting hulk and
spent several months fixing the unit.

==Capabilities:==
The entire mech had to undergo a complete overhaul to bring it back into
working condition. The old arm mounted autocannons and large lasers were
removed and replaced with a quad set of newer Magna Mk. III Large Lasers.
The torso mounted medium lasers were found to be fully functual and simply
need recalibration. To handle the excess heat, the old leaking coolant system
was replaced with a custom double heatsink system consisting of extra pipe
conduit bent to fill any available internal space not take up by the addition
of three tons of Diamondium Ferro-Fiberous Armor.

==Variants:==
The RFL-9N Rifleman is the only one of its kind and personal mech of Philip
"Delivery Boy" Fry, security officer for the Planet Express, an independent
Periphery merchant dropship. Philip calls his mech 'Bender' due to the
excessive internal piping modifications for the new coolent system.

As long a pilot monitors their heat and controls the urge to alpha strike this would work well.

OK now that is funny!

So how are you going to explain the large quantity of booze Bender consumes?
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.

Thing is, I did want this mech to able to alpha strike somewhat with the large lasers for a couple rounds before needing to cool off. I felt the need to design an aggressive Rifleman upgrade from the original look and name, like a cocky cowboy <-> Rifleman. I thought about using a pair of ER large lasers, which would work, but would throw the heat curve way off very quickly.

Unfortunately, not everything translates well from Futurama. Best excuse I could come up with would be an alcoholic based coolantsomething,something scientific which is flash-steamed and re-condensed back to be recirculated.
