------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== Xipe-Totec was built by the now forgotten and long gone Aztec Armaments. The company was destroyed in a raid by "pirates" in 2375. Ther last product was the Xipe-Totec which was a light scout/police vehicle built to offer a low cost vehicle to their customer base and many starting out mercanry units.
==Capabilities:== Xipe-Totec has a light rifled cannon as it's main weapon, this allows a ranged punch but at the same time allowing for close in fighting. The grenade launcher is there to keep things from getting close and to launch smoke grenades as needed.
This is not your typical front line unit and the idea of using it as such is not a good one. Many who buy the vehicle do so as a cost cutting point to allow them to have a scout and close in fire support vehicle.
==Deployment== At one time the Xipe-Totec was found on numerous worlds and in the hands of many security companies and merc units as well as police and militia units. None of have been seen in known space in over a thoussand years.

I like this and that fluff is great. It might not be long but it explains the tank well.
My only thought would not an armored car be more suited for such a role? Tanks are better in ruff train where an armored car is better suited for concrete roads. The armored car would take from and do less damage to the road. Also maintenance on armored cars are far cheaper and easier than it is on a tracked tank.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.
I was a Major *pain* before
But I got a promotion.
I am now a General *pain*
Yay for promotions!!!

You do raise a good set of points. I am sure they might have had a similar wheeled vehicle as well.
