The Flyswatter Economy AA Mech is a medium, mass producible, quick anti-air platform constructed around the potential of the Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle.
Barely costing over 6 million C-bills and capable of reaching speeds in excess of 80km/h, this is one of the smallest, fastest, and cost effective AA mech on the market. One key selling point is it's armor, with 9 tons of FF armor it is better protected than even some heavy AA mechs.
Out of all the powerful AA weapons out there, the Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle was noted to have great potential(Compared to other AA weapons like LB-10X, it boasted better damage, range, and a damage to ammo ratio). The problem with it's inability to fire standard gauss rounds didn't matter for the AA role. After some research and tinkering an upgraded form of the SBGR was created which fixed the fragile ammo feed problems(only affects the fluff though). The inability to gain targeting CPU benefits was compensated by installing AES and removing the hand on arm mounting the SBGR, making it as accurate as other AA weapon types.
It's secondary weaponry is a bit lacking in range but not in firepower. Due to the minimal heat generated by the engine and the gauss rifle a heat-heavy secondary armament was viable. Three Improved Heavy Medium Lasers are placed in the head and legs, capable of dealing immense damage for a secondary array of a 55 ton mech.
