Same with the other one, swap the missile for an ER Medium, use another ton of armor in place of that and voila. Instant infantry combat transport chopper.

Load it with infantry and get a squad or two close to the fray, or don't and use it as a gunship. Overall it's pretty versatile.

Hmm. You can't really get an LRM 5 on it, can you? That's a versatile weapon, even with Clan rules of engagement, and keeps the VTOL further from danger.

Nice, versatile transport and scout either way.

I could get an LRM on this with some adjustments and the idea Cray would make a good gunship/attack variant.

I still think it'd work better with 3 medium lasers or 2 ER mediums to support it's infantry... squad. Few heat sinks would be wasted and it would have much more brute force. Options given by the SRMs or LRMs would be better and more easily given on a different chassis with an ICE engine or fuel cell.

depends on HOW it would support the infantry.
Against other infantry, the lasers wouldn't be worth much.
Against armored units like mechs, ok, I will agree with that.

Just an idea, but if you have others that can provide support, maybe bump this one to a transport only.
