Really how can a program claim a mech is non-canon if you allow it for all eras? I will stick with Heavy Metal Pro.

Anyways nice simple upgrade.

I think by "Non-Canon" it simply means it has no specified place in the canon historical timeline. Specifically, it allows you to mix technologies that may not have co-existed at any point in the established history.

And I'd call this a downgrade

this is worse then the original locust.
Wow, the ice really screws the mech up. Half the speed with atleast a ton less armor.

As for being non canon, that's an easy one. If the owner/producers of the company don't say it's canon, then it's not canon.

ICE 'Mechs are fun, because they are soooo weak compared to their Fusion counterparts.

Only a ton less armour, but I stuck to the "primitive" theme by using Industrial armour rather than Standard, so there's only half the coverage of a "real" Locust.

The owners of the company can't even figure out fully what of their OWN products or past products are canon or not...

ICE mechs can be fun, BUT they have the same draw backs as ICE vehicles they blow up. And it is an upgrade for those who can't afford the real thing or saw the real thing and then built their own version.

I believe the original locust was around 1.5 mil a copy. I could see someone using this mech to bully a frontier world that doesn't have much in the way of defense.
Or by the frontier world that doesn't have anything for defense.

Guessing the laser and structure are the hardest things to build on this.
They could build most of this on a lower tech world.

You know your mech is weak when 3025 ICE vehicles are glad they aren't them.

Not an insult to your design, ICE mechs in general are just lol.

I can't see ICE combat mechs being used... anywhere, honestly. They just aren't useful except as industrial mechs. In which case industrial mechs aren't combat mechs.

I agree 100%. The only time ICE 'Mechs are useful is against other ICE 'Mechs. And Conventional Infantry. Maybe...

Oddly enough, in an alternate universe of slow-moving ICE 'Mechs, a 3/5 JagerMech might actually be king...

In an alternate universe of slow moving ICE 'mechs, tanks would be like "lol no" and smite everyone out of existance.

In an alternate universe of ICE 'Mechs, tanks have a HUGE advantage, as 'Nechs still need Heat Sinks for their ammo weapons.

Interesting variant. You got the major elements of a Locust on an ICE chassis. Well done.
