No Autocannon, so it doesn't have that Urbie feel to it and not seeing the need for TSM on mech that isn't going to be around to really use it.

To me the thick rear armor and existance of any arm cannon, particle or otherwise, plus slow speeds is what makes an Urbanmech an Urbanmech.

The arm cannon especially. It doesn't matter what type of cannon, it just has to be an arm cannon.

The laser weapon helps.

Actually, I have wondered why the urbie was never equipped with an energy weapon. Sure it tends to die when it stumbles into most peoples assault units, but the lack of ammo was a big down fall for it being used in the begining of a city fight.
Being at the edge potshotting enemies as they approached would have been a better idea. Maybe even enough to allow them to survive the city battle with less enemies in there.

If I recall right, the tsm doesn't add to wieght, just takes crits. Only increasing the price is the down fall I can see with using it.

The movement shows improved jets, but I don't see them listed anywhere else. Are they figured into the design?
Or does the partial wing allow a mech to jump without jets?

The jets are figured into the design's feet.

The program gives mostly an overview and doesn't give exact details on all equipment and their locations.

TSM does not add to the weight, and I had the crits, so I figured "why not?"

It just may come in handy if a situation deteriorates in a way where the urbie must kick some assault in the chin.

Must kick? That is always what an urbie should do to any mech bigger then it, that is at the urbies feet. A final insult to the opponent.

A 30 ton mech kicking isn't going to hurt much of anything...

A 12-point kick won't disable most medium or heavier designs if their armor is fresh, but it's enough to pay attention to. I mean, the classic Urbie only a 10-point main gun.

12 points in the right spot on a downed mech is more then enough.
