All these UrbabMech variants got me inspired. I don't have a design program on my mobile, but here's what I'm thinking for a 3025 variant:
The Urbie needs more speed, and speed means engine tonnage.
Let's drop the AC/10 for a pair of Torso-mounted SRM 6s...better vs tanks and infantry, more total damage. If we also take out the SL and reduce the armour, that saves enough tonnage to up the engine to a 180 rating, and add equivalent Jump capability. That could be highly effective.
I wonder if anyone's thought of doing that before...

I could see it going the route of double speed with SRMs, it would allow for a variety of ammos and such to be used. That would make for some interesting battles with a mix of variants of Urbanmechs fighting to save a city etc...the faster variants luring in the enemy and the AC10 armed ones can be like the German StuG vehicles smashing them from ambush positions etc. Good ideas you have the Kamikaze

Was curious who would be first to notice that I turned it into a Javelin. You're close with your Commando comparison, so I guess you win.

just make sure they have the back up beeper like a garbage truck.
Honestly could see a version with the 20 with thoughts like this. Nice ambush mech. Or maybe a crap load of lasers..
