The SCP-5P is designed for the fire support role during short operations. An XL engine allows the fitting of 2 ER PPCs at the expense of the SRM6, which gets replaced with twin SPLs for anti-infantry support. In addition, armor protection has nearly been maximized.

Small Cockpits are not around until well after the Clan invasion and you list this as begin in use during the Invasion.
