Can anyone tell me which TRO has the original Longbow 'Mech? I've been digging through mine and I can't seem to find it...
Thanks!

Right, I found that one, the Longbow 7Q, but the fluff refers to the "Original 0W", and I recall seeing a record sheet for a Longbow-0W way back in the day.

I think it was in a scenario pack, but can't remember which one. I want to say cronston's irregulars, but I can't find my copy of it yet to verify.

Actually the ORIGINAL LONGBOW was in the Star Date magazine put out by FASA, then the stats moved to Sorerben's Sabers Scenario Pack/Adventure book, then they migrated into the TRO3058.
I can email the original stats page from the Star Date if any one is interested, it was original partnered with the Flea.

Star Date? Don't remember that one. That also sounds more like star trek. I know battletechnology was a mag they had out.
I cannt find some of the scenario packs I know I have. I think you are referring to Sorensons Sabers. A company in one of the swords of light regiments. I dont remember it being in there, but then I don't have the memory I used to.

Star Date was an in house magazine for while when FASA did indeed put out the Star Trek RPG and board game. They covered things from many of the FASA products of the 80s to include Battletech. Some awesome stuff from those magazines. Really good stuff.
It was in Sorenson Sabers as well.
Battletechnology WAS NOT an official FASA product, where as Star Date was official in house Magazine for a while, then it became a non-official magazine call Star Drive.

In fact Star Date Volume 3 Number 2 has the stats pages 57-58. Also a scenario adventure, about a river crossing battle.
Article on How to recovery down mechwarriors, one salvage and stats on a vehicle called the Wombat, small VTOL like craft and stats on how the M1 and M1A1 MBT would look in 3025 Battletech.

the m1 and m1a1 would look like a turret, since the engine could not move the vehicle without weighing more then the tank.
And it would figure about star date. It sounds like it is like Dragon magazine for dungeons and dragons.

Actually the stats are pretty decent for the tech.

The wiki page says that the "Original" LGB-0C variant can be found in Experimental Technical Readout: Primitives, Volume 3, p. 8

And that is wrong. The original publising of the mechs' stats was in the Star Date magazine. IF the powers that be can't no honor the original in house magazine that FASA has then it is very clear they are doing all they can to expunge many things.
I can email you the info from the magazine if you want it.
