A simple modification of the normal Warhammer 6R, the regular PPCs are altered to Large X-Pulse lasers, and 2 Small X-Pulse lasers exist for anti-infantry duty. DHS and light ferro-fibrous armors are also included.

You could easily drop 4 to 5 heat sinks on this. 19 are overkill for 28 regular heat.
ER PPCs would be a better choice. X-pulse large lasers only have a to-hit advantage over ER PPCs at ranges 1-5 and 8-10. Otherwise, ER PPCs have an equal to-hit number and, of course, much longer range.

It would be a better choice. But this one is a swap to X-Pulse lasers for, say, urban settings, or for providing an anti-jumper bubble. It's a more specialized(A whole lot more specialized) Warhammer.

Let's see...LXPL gets 1 less heat, 1 less crit space, To-Hit advantage for 7 of the closest 10 ranges, otherwise equal up to range 15, beyond which the ERPPC rarely sees numbers below 11 anyway. At the cost of 1 damage. I'll take the LXPL, except (maybe) if I have a TC. And if my Primary weapons are doing both long and short range? Absolutely the LXPL.
Peace is that glorious moment in history when everyone stands around reloading.

is there a difference in the innersphere x lasers then clans? I would suspect there would be less range especially since they are pulse lasers.
And it does make me wonder why they don't do a pulse ppc.

Well, there's the difference that the Clans don't have x-pulse lasers.
