==Overview:==
Blackwell Heavy Industries, seeking to expand sales of it's Gallowglas heavy
battlemech design, went to work designing and  production of the GAL-3GLS as a
hybrid of the Gallowglas' other two designs along with a few new innovations
from feedback of frontline military units.

==Capabilities:==
The GAL-3GS is a simple variant maximizing the potentional of the -1GS and
-2GS. A Tiegart Magnum ER PPC remains as the primary weapon, back up by a
Blackwell Fury Gauss Rifle. The Magna Quasar Medium Pulse Lasers are replaced
with standard Magna Mark II Medium Lasers. A MainFire Point Defense AMS
replaces the head mounted small laser to provide an additional layer of
defense against missile threats. Finally the armor is upgraded to 12 tons of
Ferro-Fibrous armor.

Many Mechwarriors praise the new design, especially for running fairly cool
with only elven double heatsinks despite the high heat of its weapon array.
