Overview:
Designed as a foray by Scarabus into "fortress" tanks, the GRM-200 'Grumpy' was
centered on a massive Imperius Thundernado-40 Hyper Assault Gauss Rifle. With
AP Gauss Rifles on every side, an Angel ECM, an Active Probe, a Streak LRM20
and pulse lasers helping cover the forward arcs; this vehicle is an excellent
lineholder, capable of surviving immense damage from its 390 points of
Ferro-Lamellor armor. The Vehicle's experimental technologies and advanced gun
mount bestow the unfortunate issue of Difficult To Maintain. This deficiency is
counterbalanced by the HAG/40 being a more accurate weapon, and the machine
having the Improved Sensors quirk. All 12 of the Grumpies produced so far were
assigned to the main Scarabus Heavy Industries plant; though export orders are
being negotiated with some more affluent mercenary units, the Federated Suns,
and even Clans Sea Fox and Diamond Shark as of November 3144.
