Curious, but ecm and stealth armor? Little redundant?
Other then that question, I looks like a nasty little tank.
10 rounds on full fire mode seems a little light, but then the range it would have to be in might be a little heavy on the ammo.

ECM has to be there for Stealth armor to work in BT, and why you would need stealth armor on a tank makes no sense, but hey this is Battletech...

I thought it was already established that stealth armor isn't useless on vehicles.

Hey, folks, I hope there's no resurrection of relatively recent arguments about stealth armor on vehicles.

Now back to the vehicle, Ditch the 20 for a 10, you get more range and can add in other things to offer the vehicle, ditch the Stealth armor, not needed on this kind of vehicle.

Had forgotten about the armor. Poor memory anymore...

I can see this vehicle being a city buster or something with lots of cover.
The ecm is good for not only it, but anything close to it, so it can be effective.

I like the 20, but a version with the 10 and maybe some lrms to back it up or even idf with might be a good idea. Pull the 10's back into the 20's.

Counteroffer-For the increased range variant exchange the UAC20 for a gauss rifle and keep the stealth armor.

It costs to much and you get to little for what your paying for.

I could buy a heavy mech instead of this for 6.75 mil.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.

You can't purchase an XL engine heavy mech of any value for 6.75 milion.

No but you can buy a heavy mech that can have a Ultra 20 that moves 4-6 for around 6.75 mil

Speaking of which, a mech with similar specs to the Groundhog would still cost about the same, even with a standard fusion engine. It lacks the machineguns and wastes a mech chassis, but...

(On a smaller note, if it jams it can't be unjammed by a mech. With vehicle crew advanced rules, it can.)

The gauss rifle variant could work as well. No counter offer needed. It is your tank. I was just seeing if other possibilities could work with it.

I really dislike the ac 20 going out of favor because of the crappy range anymore. Too much weight, with too little range with the new weapons systems. The srms have not increased in range, but still very viable because of the lighter weights.
