Overview:
Sometimes mech design requires something radical, as with Imperius Rex's
"Compeller" Omni, which used a mix-tech base and a fixed MRM40. Next in
a new line of Omni's was the Machinae, a IS base chassis designed to be sold
to major powers, such as House Marik and House Davion. With a wide variety
of variants and some quite strange varaints, Imperius definitely outdid themselves
on the "What-the-hell-were-you-thinking???" factor. Visually similiar to an Atlas,
though standing at about 20 rather than about 18 meters, and more gaunt as a result,
the Machinae features an interesting "waist turret."
(In-Game Effect):Any CT mounted weapons can engage a secondary target without the
to-hit modifer, and gain a +1 to rolls when attacking infantry, also when engaging targets
over 50 tons, the mech receives a +1 to rolls with these CT mounted weapond when the
other unit is within 9 hexes.

Overview:
Packing some of the newest and most powerful weapon systems in the Sphere, the
Supremacy variant was aimed at House Steiner and House Davion, the R-e Lasers
appealing to their fight against new Kuritan designs using massive amounts of Hardened
armor, and the iHGR being the wonderful descendant of the original "Thor's Hammer."
For fighting infantry, an SRM2 is provided with a bin of inferno munitions, though typically
this bin is traded ASAP for Frag rounds, which are notably less devastating if the bin is
struck by enemy fire. A Bloodhound Probe allows hostiles with stealth and ECM systems
to be located easier, appealing to the scattered former Marik states and House Davion, who
are often fighting skirmishes with Capellan units.
