Hey guys, I'm usually not one to ask for a favor, but I'm planning an RPG style campaign that takes place in the Star League's downfall and desperately need a custom warship made but don't have the tools to make it myself. I'm looking for a warship(not over 750000 tons) with 5 dropship collars. If that's not possible, whatever tonnage will give me five DS collars. I'd like for it to carry at least 8 fighters as well as enough armor/weapons to take out at least a corvette escorted by 2-4 dropships. Thanks for any help guys.

The price is low on this design; it doesn't have some StratOps-related price items.

This is about in the tonnage range of a Star League light cruiser. It has typical acceleration for Star League-era WarShips, 5 docking collars, typical lithium-fusion battery (for Star League ships), and an HPG. Armor's thicker than normal for the era. Weapons are a bit on the light side, but most opponents are thin-skinned.

The weaponry is designed to support orbital bombardment, particularly by the Star League's patent "hover on brute thrust over a target and blast away for days." The other guns are typical beefy NACs able to aid orbital bombardment (the NAC/35 and /40 can't hit the ground) and deal with other ships. The missiles are versatile weapons, with a concentration in the nose to give a lot of engagement options.

A standard wing of 18 fighters is provided, along with a large set of small craft to deliver marines and supplies (or 10 more fighters in place of small craft). On that note, it has an organic retinue of a marine platoon with spare quarters for a couple of officers (30 marines). The 200 passenger quarters address all the bay personnel and most of the techs that go with the fighters and small craft. All quarters are sized as first class for long hauls. The two grav decks are 225m in diameter to give 1G at 3rpm, a speed at which most people can adapt to without puking too often.

The cargo capacity is a bit light by Star League standards, but I wanted to beef up the design a bit.

Awesome! Thanks Cray, this is pretty much what I was hoping for in a warship. Fits what I needed for the campaign's setting. Much appreciated.

The contest has still been kicking through my head. The need for 5 DropShips reminded my of the Fox. So, here's a much lighter concept. Mostly the same fighters, small craft, marines, DropShips, and acceleration, but necessarily lighter armor and guns. It'll be able to deal with pirate and Periphery space threats (fighters and DropShips), and survive a brush with a real WarShip if it runs immediately, but it doesn't have much in the way of big guns. Still adequate for bombardment, though.

The grav decks are also a bit smaller, so they're probably only safe for 0.5G before they start pumping stomachs.
