I'm trying to make a medium mech that has a HAG-30. But it has some modifiers that go +2/-2 on the REMLAB page

I just want to know what they change, so I can actually play with that mech.
Also I might fix the wiki pages for the 20/30/40 versions so they actually say what the modifiers do.

HAGs inflict cluster-type damage, like LRMs. The roll on the cluster table is modified by range since the bursts of ammo spread out:
"When an HAG hits a target, roll on the appropriate column of the Cluster Hits Table, but apply a +2 modifier at short range and a –2 modifier at long range. Treat a result of less than 2 as 2, and a result of greater than 12 as 12."

Correct. There's no modifiers for HAGs on the cluster roll at medium range.
