This tanks would be found in use with merc units and low tech worlds that don't require a mech force as their front line defense.

is it the program that stuck the amplifier entry between the engine size and the speed?
If so, it may be a good idea to contact the programmer and have them move it.

I know it's using an ice, but still seems under gunned for a 90 ton tank. Guessing the equipment for the lasers is causing that. The Zukov has the twin ac 10s with a srm 6 pack, and move faster.

Is there a variant to this thought up?
I know ammo dependencies are bad, but without a fusion engine to cover for it, energy weapons are hard to deal with.

Think about this, many worlds can make certain high tech weapons BUT not everything, be this because of not having certain needed materials to build the weapons or tech etc...so the Attila is going with the idea that a world has the ability to build lasers, but lacks the ability to support fusion engines, again not all worlds will have the tech to keep things up and running, so they work with what they have.

The power amp location in the text is an easy fix, cut and past to another spot, but I will pass it on to Ric.

And yes the more expensive Zukov does move faster, and while that is allowed with a fusion engine, the Attila is cheaper and thus would be something many merc and militia units would go for since they would have more money to invest in other things like food or ammo or a new mech.

Ammo dependence is not bad, it is something that you as the commander/owner of a merc unit has to take into account for your operations just as does the commander of a state military, do I have enough AC rounds? Do I have enough MG rounds, okay I have X of one and Y of the other, so we can engage for 10 days of heavy combat, but if we use terrain and some planning we can fight only where we can get the enemy to be bunch up etc...there is more to combat then just the tech on a mech or vehicle.

Power amp is part of the engine accord to Rick, so it belongs where it's at. Hope that helps.

I understand that, but could he move it just after the move stats?
Maybe just the flow of it looks off, and this is probably just me.

I do understand that different worlds will not be able to make everything. If they could, there would be no trade. And alot of times it isn't resources that prevent this, but the training to do it. Engine techs are in high demand and go where the money is. It is why defiance industries had to build fusion engines on another world.
It just seems a waste of 8 tons to put the energy weapons on the tank, but then again, it would turn out to be just another (add name here).
