Overview
The Harlequin was a Ghost Bear-produced Medium OmniMech. Like the Timber Wolf, it was intended to fulfill many roles with equal effectiveness.
A 250-rated XL Engine, Endo-Steel structure, and Ferro-Fibrous armor save weight, and nine tons of armor protection make it highly survivable. The engine gives it a respectable speed of about 87 kph, and ten double heat sinks are hardwired to the chassis to keep it cool. It has no hand actuators. With more than half its weight--26 tons--devoted to pod space, this 'Mech is highly adaptable.
Capabilities
The Prime load out of the Harlequin adds four Double Heat Sinks, allocating one to each leg and side torso, and mounts a Large Pulse Laser in each arm, and a Streak SRM-6 in each side torso, with one ton of ammo in each side torso. An Active Probe and ECM Suite are both installed in the center torso for electronic warfare, and detecting hidden enemies. This configuration often sees use as a city fighter.
Variants
Harlequin A: Medium-range generalist/vehicle hunter. Mounts an LB10-XAC in each side torso, with three tons of ammo shared between each torso location. For backup, a single ER Medium Laser is mounted in each torso location.
Harlequin B: Missile support. Removes the lower arm actuator of the right arm in order to install a Gauss rifle, with two tons of ammo stored in the center torso. Also mounts an LRM-15 with Artemis IV in each side torso, with two tons of ammo in the left torso, and one in the right.
Harlequin C: Again removing the lower arm actuator of the right arm, carries an Ultra AC/20 there, with a four-ton ammo bin (in the right torso), and a Streak SRM-6 in each side torso, with two tons of ammo, as well as a head-mounted Medium Pulse Laser.
Harlequin D: Mainly for combating conventional forces, while also acting as a decent sniper. Carries an ER PPC in each arm, two AP Gauss Rifles with one ton of ammo in the center torso, and a Plasma Cannon in the head, with one ton of torso-stored ammo. Adds eight double heat sinks, distributed evenly between side torsos. Still runs fairly hot.
Harlequin E: Mounts a Gauss Rifle with two tons of ammo in place of the lower right arm, and four Medium Pulse Lasers in a box-shaped configuration in place of the left hand actuator. A Streak SRM-6 is carried for backup in the right torso, with one ton of ammo.
Harlequin F: Makes use of both HAG and ATM technology, carrying an ATM-9 in each side torso, along with four tons of ammo, and a HAG/20 in the right arm with two tons of ammo.
Harlequin K: Designed for use by the KungsArme, carries an Artemis IV-equipped LRM-10 with two tons of ammo in the right torso, a Light Machine Gun in each side torso with half a ton of ammo to share, and also carries a Gauss Rifle in place of the right lower arm actuator, with two tons of ammo. What made this configuration truly versatile, however, was its carrying of a Light TAG system to call for indirect fire support, an Active Probe to find hidden foes, and an ECM Suite to jam enemy electronics. Also, appealing to the KungsArme's love of melee fighting, mounts a Retractable Blade in the left arm.

It's a pocket timberwolf. I like the D variant for anti-infantry capabilities, but otherwise it's just a weaker and more fragile Mad Cat.
