Why doesn't your plasma rifle have ammunition? Is that the custom part of it?

The ac/2's don't seem to have ammo either...

The first and second AC/2s share their ammo, so they have 45 shots per gun.
It's the Plasma Rifle which has me scratching my head.

Are there not two versions of the Plasma Rifle in the game?

I don't believe so, no.
There are two vehicle-scale plasma weapons available in the game. One is the IS Plasma Rifle, the other is the Clan Plasma Cannon. Both of these require ammunition to function at the rate of 10 shots per ton.

Cancerkargo, if you look at one of the AC/2's lines you'll note it has 2 tons of ammo. The ammo's not listed as a separate entry per standard TRO formatting.

There's the Inner Sphere's Plasma Rifle and the Clans' Plasma Cannon. Both require ammo (slugs of plastic to provide a sufficient mass of plasma).
