The Night Owl Interdictor Mk.I is a chopper that's designed to make effective use of vehicle-grade stealth armor on a platform cheap enough to mass-produce. The weapon system chosen for this is a trio of MML 3s with two tons of ammunition, allowing for useful long range or powerful short range hits. The VTOL is cheaper than most mechs, including Urbanmechs, while having augmented survivability due to it's GECM and stealth armor. Night Owl tactics generally revolve around it's long range attack capabilities, as it can hit effectively at long range while making it nearly impossible for non-dedicated AA units to even get a grazing shot using high speed and stealth armor. As the MML's SRM shooting ability requires the Night Owl to get close which negates it's stealth armor's benefits, they are often used as backup.

What is the difference between the guardian ecm and the angle ecm?

The xl might make it a little too expensive for milita use, but that would also depend on how effective it is.
Might be better with a tag on it. Laser target. Head off, come from different angle.

Don't know if mml missiles can benefit from tag, but if it can, that might be an improvement though losing a system might not be worth it.

Guardian ECM Angel ECM

The Angel is a more advanced guardian, affecting a few more electronics. Could of sworn I also read somewhere it negated targeting computers as well, but that may of changed or my mind is fuzzy.

Angel ECM has a larger radius of effect and jams more systems. As I recall, it can even jam Streaks.

MMLs fire SRMs and LRMs. The semi-active LRMs can benefit from TAG.

I thought the guardian ecm would not allow a streak to lock.
I would think the angel is the clan version, since they normally have the better stuff.

Nope. Streaks are immune to basic ECM suites.

The older version of Angel ECM, found in the Tactical Handbook, affects Targeting Computers. The newer version, in Tactical Operations, does not.
