Prepare to be annihilated by Games Workshop's legal staff lol.
In all seriousness I like it though.

For using a weapons term? Yeah pretty sure they learned that they can't copyright everything with their episode over the term Space Marine.

Really wish the energy weapons could get better return on vehicles, but it does try to not lose out on everything with the loss of 8 tons to heat sinks.

lolol, yeah, the space marine thing was a fiasco. In all honesty it seems very effective despite the loss of usable tonnage. Lots of endurance, especially with ammo-independent main guns, and using a light SRM rack...Lot of hurt. Great armor, too, this'd probably be my main battle tank, especially in an offensive campaign. Less supply lines ftw.

It's a slightly faster, better armored, worse armed Brutus Assault Tank.

In a campaign setting, I think I'd use some sort of 50 tonner or 45 tonner with slightly more speed and one laser or PPC as a primary weapon for a MBT. You could probably fit almost as much or more armor. I find the best true MBTs use at most a single heavy energy weapon, generally mixed with some sort of missile systems and anti-infantry gun, if possible.

For example, a 45 ton 5/8 SFE tank with a PPC and flamer would be equipped to handle both armored and infantry threats, while carrying a solid 11 tons of standard armor, while costing a little bit less than 1.550 million C-Bills. A truly excellent blend of speed, armor, and firepower, as MBTs should be.

In a campaign setting, you will have more than one tank. You can have your 45 ton vehicle but you would still want that assault tank on your side too. And your version of a MBT may be different than someone else's. I think 2 main weapons are fine. Different tanks with different weapons for different roles. With two main weapons you can do twice the damage, not to mention if you lose one weapon, you might still have the other, whereas a tank with one main weapon will only have backup weapons left. They all have their place and this tank is a pretty solid design overall.
