==Overview:==
Designed as a defensive standoff BattleMech, the Hexen is another possible
design in the Heretic BattleMechs lineup.

Unfortunately, as a Testbed design, the Hexen is not without its issues.


==Capabilities:==
At 55 Tons and sporting 10 Tons of Longaneker Plastisteel Ferro Fibrous
armour, the Hexen can take a lot of punishment.

Welded to that frame is an experimental weapon referred to the "Sorcerer"
Coilgun. Although the Coilgun takes up what little space is in the Right
Torso, it is capable of flinging multiple projectiles at range and damage
comparable to the Light Gauss Rifle, the Sorcerer gives the Hexen an
exceptional range profile.

Regrettably, the Hexen suffers from the same deficiencies of the Hollander
that came before it - the design is slow and lacks suitable backup weaponry.

... Yes, it is a terrible design.

Yes, it is flawed horribly.

But its an introduction for me for the "Sorcerer", which was what I nicknamed the Fafnir I once used... I couldn't get Heavy Gauss replacements for battle Damage, so I stuck 2 lights in the place... It was crazy.

It's not terribly flawed at all, no more so than other mechs like the Vindicator or Panther.

Say what? The Vindicator flawed? That is a solid 45 ton 'mech.

Anyway, on to the design, 2 light gauss rifles will give very good range and respectable punch. This isn't a 'mech that you can afford to ignore for too long.
