Any reason why the first one has no back armor?
Also. Did they open up spots in the head? Both weapons on both mechs seem to be located there. And I will assume there will be a reason the first one is called air mobile even though it is not a lam or even have jets. I would think they are moved by other means.

2 slots in the head are available if your Mech uses a Small Cockpit. I'll explain more of your stuff later, but otherwise you can look at the Rat Air-Mobile Tank's description, as it's basically the same concept.

Ran out of time to edit.
Description:The Deathstalker is a later design inspired by the success of the Rat to fill the same role of a lightweight garrison combat unit for use in heavily constricting terrain such as rivers, heavily forested terrain, and mountainous terrain.
In an attempt to give the Deathstalker higher durability than the required 20 ton chassis would allow, the Mk.I was covered in nearly maximum hardened armor in a "gun shield" arrangement. The front torso locations boast enough armor to shrug off an AC/20 shell. To save weight, the rear armor had to be sacrificed entirely, allowing the center torso to be cored by an accurate clan-spec ER medium laser from the rear.
The more conventional Mk.II loses the heavy armor for a more and lighter arrangement, plus jump jets which greatly assist in constricting terrain.
