The funniest thing I have heard was by a stand-up comic...Peter Hellier, I think it was. It went like this.
"I dunno...I've always suspected, for some reason, that I was adopted. So one day, I decided to find out for sure. So I went up to my dad, and I said 'Dad, I just gotta know...Ling Xiao, did you adopt me?'"
I fell off my chair laughing.
