Just something I was playing around with a little bit tonight, figuring it to be a Dark Age/Jihad era refit of the Black Lion I, a ship I've got a bit of a soft spot for (stop giggling, people).

No major changes - just upgraded the secondary weaponry (light gauss and SCL/1s instead of AC/5s and AC/2s), added point defense weapons, switched to double heat sinks, and swapped the armor type.

I have in the past made the mistake regarding AeroTech2 rules. It was my assumption that the current rule set (Strategic Operations) were the same rules sets as AeroTech2.

Lol I won't make that mistake here. So I won't comment on your numbers or equipment installed.

I like your use of Sub Cap Laser. It adds a new dimension to the ship. I am disappointed that you didn't include a history of how and why this refit became possible. I am a story nut lol, so for me the story is everything.

Either way, its a solid design.

The design came about as the captains family makes the sub capital weapons, and they wanted to show what they can do. So the ship was tapped to showcase these new weapons for the admiralty of the inner sphere and clans.

Well, it sounded good.

Since my warship information is very limited, I will ask.
Is 10 missiles enough for the launcher, and I would ask the same about 15 rounds for the nac 20s.
Considering the light gauss has 20+ rounds, this would seem light on those weapons.
I know the cargo can carry some to be used later, but that takes on a whole new issue.

Intentionally left the fluff blank, since I tried to go for as generic a Dark Age era refit as I could.

As for ammo loads, the rules require 10 rounds per gun. The numbers I went with equal the originally published Black Lion I (not surprising, since I still have the draft HMA file from before it got published)
