==Overview:==
Built to be a fast mover from the assault ships to the beachheads or for use
in swamps and delta regions the WH-3 Whale has seen service on many worlds and
continues to provide the needed firepower in both it's domestic weapons as
well as the organic marine or special troops it can carry.

A short range fighting vehicle, the primary missions is that of a battle taxi,
get the troops to the hot spot fast and and give support as it can and return
for reinforcements.

Many smugglers and pirates among others have nicknamed WH-3 the Quai Vat
meaning monster in an old Terran dialect. The Whale does indeed live up to
this name.

Well technically, the engine is .5 tons under the 20% rule. But overlooking that.

I know you don't have the tonnage for a turret or sponsons, but would it be worth it to move a small pulse laser to each side?
More of a cover the troops as they load or unload from the unit?

The engine is correct, add it all up again Ghostrider it is correct.

I have a far more expensive version that has a turret and other weapons.

Ok. So they fixed the issue of fusion engines, and allowed the shielding to be included.
I was still under the impression the engine alone was to be 20%.
That was my error.

I would figure the more expensive version doesn't have the large infantry bay.

Okay. You've got a 50-ton hover tank that requires at least 10 tons of engine.

9.5 tons engines plus the obligatory 5 tons of shielding (fusion engines on vehicles: shielding and transmission gear is 50% of engine weight, round up) equals 14.5 tons.

14.5 tons is greater than the minimal 15 tons.

Design passes engine requirements. Maybe Ghostrider missed the separated shielding line.

No. I missed them adding the shielding into the weight of the engine.
I, erroneously, thought it was engine alone.
I freely admit this.

Been a long while since looked into designing a hover craft with a fusion engine. Just always used one the engine itself was more then the 20'%.
