No fluff as of yet, I just wanted to exploit the stability of quad designs lol. Lead with the missile launcher while charging up the HPPC, then, outta nowhere VVVVVVVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRMMMMPOW--20 damage, delivered with startling accuracy. Plus ER smalls for close in. Good armor too.

Quads fell out of favor for me once Tripods were introduced. You get the stability, lateral shifts of a quad, but 360 facing with no MP required. AND YOU HAVE ARMS!! So there is no drop in the number of available crits, it's actually one more available crit from the center leg. (tripod cockpits need two crits)

I do love me the IS Heavy PPC, especially with a capacitor. I'd ditch the LRM 5 and its ammo, and either two lasers or one laser and a half-ton of armor to add a Light PPC and a capacitor. Then you have a decent-range 20-10-20-10 hit.

I'd drop the LRM for a turret...Quad's have horrible firing arcs, you need to be able to point that HPPC any direction you need. Would help you maintain 7+ hexes of movement for the +3 to-hit by eliminating a facing change or two for targeting purposes.

Otherwise good...I love the Big Boom capability on such a small 'Mech.
Peace is that glorious moment in history when everyone stands around reloading.

@happyguy49: I whipped up a variant designated the -2N with the alterations you suggested loadout-wise, and it performed amazingly against AI in my AtB MekHQ campaign. Took out an Anvil in an officer's duel with a headcap in its first battle. Look forward to seeing it continue as part of my roster. Thanks for the feedback!

@KamikazeJohnson and Karagin: I'll write up a turreted variant and post it soon. Thanks for the feedback!
