A MiliTech experimental series, the PHALANX Project was designed as a one stop shop for garrsion 'Mechs and slow Assault 'Mechs alike.
The ALPHA and BRAVO series were designed to project tremendous direct and indirect fire respectively. The former acting as a mid-range direct fire Assault / Garrison 'Mech and the latter acting as a heavier answer to the Catapult, with more ammo in a similar role. Neither 'Mech is very mobile, and the BRAVO in particular is exceptionally slow. However, a pair of Laser AMS and shields [in the BRAVO's case, bigger ones] makes this series of 'Mech extremely durable.
The BRAVO suffers from a lack of backup weapon, but has 2 A-Pods on it's hips to deter infantry.

The bravo has a typo. The movement should be faster then 1/2/2. guessing 3/5 if not using hardened armor.
For some reason, both seem under gunned for a 100 ton mech. Can't place why it feels like this.

It's the medium shields, they impart a movement penalty I think.
