The Jackal is MiliTech's oddball. In it's primary config, the A1 is used as an 80-ton scavenger. Picking off damaged 'Mechs and vehicles with it's twin Rotary AC/2s and LRM-10s. However, in it's 1B config, the Jackal is a powerful long range sniper with C3 compatibility and the ability to bring down accurate artillery fire. The 1AG on the other hand, is a high-tech blend of the two, with Artemis enhanced LRM-15s and a pair of ER Large Lasers to round out it's fire support roles.
The Jackal is an all-around fire support 'Mech for any situation, and a worthy investment for any company.

Would suggest just making this an omni mech, but the second one is lacking the ferrous armor.
The speed is nice at times, but the weight might be better in weapons and such. Granted, I don't know how many crits you have left to play with, so you might be stuck with the larger engine. IS double sinks are crit eaters, so I can see the larger engine to hide them.

I have zero crits left, the speed is partly for range control and partly to hide some heat sinks. The RAC/2s and LRM 10s have a lot of weight between them, but I also wanted a lot of armor. The 'Mech is expensive, and it's 1A config is only good if it can weather the fight to take advantage of damaged 'Mechs. The ECM was originally a BAP, but I saw no use for it. It's also a decent AA 'Mech.
