Basically a Front Line 'Mech designed to have layered range and be a missile dominant 'Mech. The Light PPC gives it an effectively unlimited CT mounted AC/5, while the twin MRM-20s and twin SRM-4s give tremendous firepower at mid to short range. A 300 standard engine ensures it can keep up with heavy and assault elements, while a pair of CASE IIs severly limit the amount of damage taken by an ammo explosion. Obviously not very good without ammo.

As much as I want to like MRMs, it's so hard to do without at least an Apollo system...the +1 Targeting penalty combined with crappy range brackets makes them practically worthless outside 7 hexes (fully half their so-called effective range), except in the hands of an elite gunner.
In spite of the MRM's drawbacks, this design has impressive close-range punch, but the LPPC is pretty light as the only effective long-range weapon.
I'd consider dropping the 2 extra DHS and trading the LPPC for a ER Large Laser...more damage and better range breaks. The tradeoff of course is that the Laser and SRMs are an either/or choice, not both (rather than being able to Alpha safely with the LPPC). Option B would be to do something with a Light Engine.
Peace is that glorious moment in history when everyone stands around reloading.
