The Chasqui is a 50-ton Scout 'Mech, although heavy for it's size and quite expensive with it's XL Engine; it mounts 10 and a half tons of Standard Armor alongside 9 Improved Jump Jets. The Chasqui has two roles it fulfills. The Scout role, where it's mobility and defense coupled to it's BAP and Guardian ECM Suite allow it to perform it's function admirably putting a focus on defense / survivability. The other role is Melee Flanker, where it looks to envelope or backstab and enemy with it's hatchet and sword. And mediocre ambusher as well.
