The seven Technical Readouts in my BT collection are from FASA and I am looking to replace them. I've checked the Catalyst Game Labs store by entering the title and looking at the cover shots without success.

Did FanPro/WizKid/Catalyst Game Labs reprint the book with the same title or was the title changed?

There are more then one version of it. The original had some things in it, later printings didn't, and vis versa.
We ran found this out during one conversation where some of the fluff had suggested issues with mechs, that didn't appear in a later printing. Same with the 3050 tro.

The marauder on the orginal 3025 is one of the unseen mechs if I know right, due to the lawsuit the owners of robotech had against battletech, so if you are looking for that cover, you will not find it on the newer printings.

Thank you for the reply. I have two copies of TRO 3025. One copy appears to be a first printing from 1986 and the second one is the third printing from May 1987. Both copies have been well used and the pages are beginning to fall out.

I do recall something about lawsuits one was with the original Battledroid title and the other was with some of the images. I've checked the link I have to the Unseen Minis list and the Marauder is one of them as you recalled.

Is there a TRO that takes the place of TRO 3025 and if so what is the title?

There is another TRO 3025 that came out in 1996 (has atlas on the cover). There is also TRO 3039 that covers some of the stuff in TRO 3025.

Thank you Silverlocust for the tidbit about the 1996 TRO 3025 and some of the stuff is in TRO 3039.

Looks like I'll have check out some of the used book stores in my area in the hopes of finding a 1996 edition.

I know this feeling.

I have three copies -- one "user" copy, which is falling to bits; one with the misprint of the _Ostscout_ and one of the heavy Osts; and a non-misprint version which is autographed not only by Anthony Pryor, but by "Mechwarrior" David Levine (actually an author in the Portland area).

Hello csadn,

You lucky dog with three copies and one signed. I've got two other game books signed by the author.
