---Designer's Notes:

-- A quad style 'Mech which shares it's name with a well known tank, the Bulldog is designed for use along side vehicles and infantry as a mobile support gun and for fire support in urban warfare. 6 Machine guns are served by a half-ton of ammo, while a single Large Laser provides decent attack against hard targets. 8 Tons of Standard Armor and 4 Jump Jets give it additional mobility to supplement it's poor firing arcs, while the inclusion of leg-mounted Heat Sinks provides additional cooling in water.

-- Due to the malus towards Quad 'Mechs, this design was never produced and found rotting in some stinking hole by a disenfranchised mercenary who partied too hard one night. However, when putting it out on the ExtraNet, to their surprise many companies [ and clients as well ] expressed interest in a cheap Mixed Forces Quad 'Mech to supplement their forces. It is as of yet unknown what happened to the mercenary in question, but this 'Mech has been appearing in token Mercenary Units and the retinues of the Great Houses alike for partisan suppression and Mixed Forces support ever since.

-- It is currently unknown how many companies produce this 'Mech, and how many, if any, variants of it exist. Rumors however have ranged from some armed to mimic the Bulldog Tank's armament to Flamer-Wielding ghost versions that never appear on sensors. Some have even swore to there being an Omni-Mech version that has a PPC mounted in a Turret. At any rate, only time and war will tell if this 'Mech is successful.
